LAUNCH SERVICES

• Advised SSC in the negotiations with Space Exploration Technologies
• Corporation with regard to a launch services agreement.
• Advised SSC on the procurement of launch services from Arianespace for the launch of the TELE-X satellite.
• Advised NSAB on the competitive procurement of launch services for the SIRIUS 2 satellite and led the negotiations of the terms and conditions of the Launch Service Agreement with each of the bidders.
• Advised NSAB on the competitive procurement of launch services for the
• SIRIUS 3 satellite and led the team negotiating the commercial and legal terms of the launch service agreement.
• Advised OverHorizon on the competitive procurement of the launch services for OH-1 and led the negotiations of the terms and conditions of the Launch Service Agreement with each of the bidders.

LAUNCH RISK AND IN-ORBIT INSURANCE

•     Advised NSAB on a launch risk and in-orbit insurance entered into with respect to the Sirius 2 satellite including advice with respect to an additional insured as their respective risks appeared.
•     Assisted OverHorizon (Cyprus) PLC in the engagement of a broker of satellite launch risk insurance.

TT&C SERVICES    Advised OverHorizon with respect to an agreement with Intelsat Corporation for the provision of tracking, telemetry, command and monitoring of the OH-1 satellite.

•     Advised and represented NSAB in negotiations with British Sky Broadcasting Ltd (BSkyB) regarding procurement of satellite control services for the Sirius 1 satellite.
•     Advised a TT&C operator with respect to the provision of tracking, telemetry, command and monitoring of a geostationary satellite for a European satellite operator.
